Worship & Bible Studies at Faith
The community at Faith is a growing and creative community. Our worship services are grounded in scripture and focused on transforming lives. Many generations worship together at Faith and so we celebrate a blended service that is rooted in tradition but open to new ideas.
As Christians, we follow a God who said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them.” Thus, our worship services feature a children’s gathering each week. We also provide a nursery next to the sanctuary--with a window into the sanctuary and an audio feed from the worship service--so that parents have a space to take their children if needed during the service. We also offer Junior Church during the worship service for kids 3 years old through 4th Grade (including a Children's Choir that practices during the first 10 minutes). Currently, Junior Church is being offered by Zoom at 9:00AM due to COVID--but will return in person during the service on September 5. To get the weekly Zoom link, activity pages, etc., email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our worship starts at 10:30am every Sunday, and lasts until about 11:45am. It is a blended service featuring contemporary praise songs as well as traditional hymns every week. We have some traditional elements including prayer, creeds, and liturgies--and communion on the first Sunday of the month. However, the preaching is more contemporary and has a style focused on teaching and interaction with the congregation and is meant to spark conversation and deep thinking.
As far as a "dress code," there is none. Come as you feel comfortable. Some people are in suits, others are in shorts, and the pastor is usually in jeans. We care more about getting to know you and meeting your needs than about how you look.
Church is about getting to come into the presence of God and experiencing the love of Jesus the savior. And it is about doing so in community with other people who have some of the same struggles and hopes as you. We invite you to join us and pray that you will find the experience uplifting and meaningful.
To attend In-Person we ask folks to pre-register by clicking here (please use this link to register each week). The form asks you COVID related questions and gather brief contact info in case contact tracing is needed.
Please wear a mask as you enter and exit the building and while singing. See details on the home page.
To attend ONLINE: We will continue to also broadcast online and by radio each week. You can listen to the services on FM 89.9 (up to a mile radius around the church) or view them online: Look up Pastor “Jason Perkowski” on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/
It would be excellent if every member of the congregation was involved in at least one Bible Study during the week. Please choose one study to attend each week, and bring a friend to join you. We have several opportunities:
